In occasione della mostra “Carissimo Pinocchio” a cura di Giulio Iacchetti un Pinocchio decisamente bugiardo, naturalmente in legno, ma dalle fattezze che ricordano vagamente la sagoma di un proiettile che – è il caso di dirlo – “la spara grossa”: «La guerra è giusta», la più grande bugia che possa essere pronunciata, sempre e comunque. Non esiste e non esisterà mai una guerra giusta. Così, come nella migliore delle fiabe, ci sarà prima o poi un lieto fine per far tornare il sorriso ai bambini di oggi, uomini di pace di domani.

On the occasion of the exhibition “Dearest Pinocchio” curated by Giulio Iacchetti a  clearly lying Pinocchio, naturally made of wood, but with features that vaguely recall the shape of a bullet which, it must be said, “says it all”. In this case the phrase “war is just” is the biggest lie that can ever be said, always and with no
exceptions. There is not and will never be a just war and so, as in the best of fairy tales, there will be, soner or later, a happy ending to make today’s children, tomorrow’s men of peace, smile again.
